Unsold Food logistics for non-profit organizations

Comerso allows retailers to optimize the management of their unsold food. Their software and logistics solution allows the transfer of responsibility between distributors and non-profit organizations, ensuring traceability, guaranteeing the cold chain for fresh products and organizing pick-up.

Each new collection route launched by Comerso generates 2 jobs for unemployed people, usually far from the labor market. The company aims to give +60,000 tons of food products in the next 5 years.

Green last mile delivery

Ecolotrans is the first last-mile refrigerated delivery service using electric vehicles. The company has multiplied its turnover by 10 between 2010 and 2017, with a profitable growth.

Ecolotrans made the choice of apprenticeship very early on. The company has trained +50 trainee delivery drivers, two-thirds of whom were subsequently hired on permanent contracts. These young people, many of whom had dropped out of school, now form the foundation of a company with extremely low HR turnover.

Recycling of used mattresses

RME is the first European player in the recycling of used mattresses. The company is able to dismantle all types of mattresses and to recover 92% of the materials.

The plants in Limay, Chollet, Toul and Langon have been approved as “Integration Companies”. The company has already created about sixty jobs for people far from the job market and should eventually create about one hundred. RME is now pursuing a European expansion strategy with the opening of a plant in Belgium and several other projects including Italy.
